They would originally be made of materials like leather feathers, and they would only be a few inches across.

The dream catcher's main function is to catch the good and bad dreams that float around in the night air. The pleasant ones will find their way to the center, and then to our dreams. Meanwhile, the bad ones will get caught in the outer portions and fade away when the sunlight comes.

The smaller dream catchers would be to protect infants, while the larger ones would protect the household.
