HOW AND WHY ARE YOU DEDICATED TO THIS SERVICE?

Yoga is a metaphor for life. All that is required is to show up and try your best. Every day you learn something new and grow a little bit wiser through consistent practice and dedication. Some days it may be harder than usual, we may stumble, we may fall, but we must not judge. Instead, we remain compassionate to ourselves and trust the process. I am dedicated to this service because of the great positive impact it has had in my personal and professional life. It has opened a world of wellness for me by seeing food as medicine, nature as a remedy, and physical exercise as detoxification of the body, mind, and spirit.

EDUCATION/PREPARATION

  • Although my yoga journey began with Bikram style classes, I developed a strong connection with the practice through self -study, in nature, allowing my body to intuitively guide the following pose. This flow allowed me to understand the root of my actions and the emotions driving the actions. I began to truly understand myself, by unpacking the mess into a purposeful message. Gaining clarity in the reflections of how we do anything, is how we do everything.
  • In February of 2017, I obtained my certification through Atmananda Miami, under the instruction of John Tamayo. The Atmananda Yoga Sequence is a body of knowledge that combines and incorporates Hatha Yoga, and Asthanga Yoga into a dynamic Vinyasa flow. It energetically works to open the different chakra points within our body, allowing personal break-throughs to naturally take place naturally.
