It’s more than just a movie!
Bagua Center is offering a movie night where we can all come together and expand our consciousness.
Here we LOVE movies/documentaries and we LOVE to help others! Why not combine the two awesome interests? Movie night at Bagua Center is an event by donation (of your choice), and all the money raised is going to be donated to an organization in need.
We have mats, blankets, and cushions that you can use but, feel free to bring your own if you desire. Join us and feel free to bring as many friends and family with you.
Dress comfy! Let’s get together and give back to our community. Don’t forget to sign in online for our event!
We are going to have popcorn and tea for sale downstairs at the store, these items and there is limited availability, first come first serve.
The money raised from the Movie Night at Bagua Center is going to be donated to an organization called Boys & Girls Clubs of America
“We believe every kid has what it takes. The mission and core beliefs of Boys & Girls Clubs fuel our commitment to promoting safe, positive and inclusive environments for all. Boys & Girls Clubs of America supports all youth and teens – of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, and religion – in reaching their full potential’ Check the website to know more about: https://www.bgca.org/
Documentary: “The Mask You Live In”
It’s a great documentary for all the family to watch and raise awareness of our culture’s differences in raising boys and girls.
Main topics are:
- the concept of masculinity
- the expectations
- double standards
- the comparisons
“If you have sons, it will change the way you parent. If you don’t have sons, it will change the way you think about and interact with the boys and men in your life, whether it’s your nephew, the teenager down the street, or your husband.”
