Drumming and Dreaming is a shamanic sound healing experience where one gets to connect with their Higher Self and beyond.

Participants take the role of an archaeologist and go on a symbolic excavation of the soul and return with artifacts/memories/visions of meaning. Through the practices of stillness, whole body awareness, and shamanic sound healing (with ceremonial drumming, overtone singing, drone instruments) a sacred space is created for the soul to experience non-ordinary reality and experience a dream-like state. The space for spirit guide contact is created and question/answer sessions with the Divine become practical. Drumming & Dreaming is also a perfect opportunity to simply let go, relax and “become the sound,” to harmonize one’s energy with their chosen qualities: be it Abundance, Vitality, etc.

This work is ideal for those who wish to uncover the roots of recurring strife, counter-productive patterns of behavior, or for those who are simply curious about the power, beauty and deeply relaxing qualities of a shamanic sound healing/drumming meditation journey.

The potential benefits of this experience are a renewed sense of calm, clarity, creativity, and a palpable sense of interconnectedness.

The long-term potential of this work is to connect strongly to one’s Dharma and to live authentically in the world.

The session flows as follows: a brief introduction on how to embark on a Shamanic journey, followed by a Shamanic sound healing journey (ceremonial drumming, exotic world instruments) for 30-45 minutes, where participants rest in a seated or reclined meditation while the facilitator guides the journey. The remaining time is reserved for transitioning back to waking state and processing/documenting the journey.

Comfortable clothing, a blanket, journal and pen and water are recommended.
